Episode 19: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

Abhimanyu, Josh and his lawyer were discussing something. Kate with the senior officer entered into the room. A weird shine was there in the Abhimnyu’s eyes, he was checking out Kate. The girl who just freaked him for months is right there.

“This is the time. You can take revenge of everything happened to you because of her”, Josh Whispered in Abhimanyu’s ear. Abhimanyu overheard him as he was trying to figure out something else. He was trying to read Kate’s face. She doesn’t look as she was before. There was weird expression on her face. She looked somewhat stressed may be or sad may be or.. or somewhat angry. It’s difficult to know her mood at the moment, but something is not normal that’s for sure.

Kate came closer and took seat on the other side of the table. Josh whispered something to the lawyer. Abhimanyu was still gazing Kate to gauge the situation. Kate wasn’t looking at him. Her eyes were wandering in the room, up, down, here and there. Something is going on in her mind for sure. Is she planning something again? Abhimanyu was confused.

The lawyer and senior officer were talking something. Josh was also giving his inputs and a complete nonverbal play was going on between Kate and Abhimanyu.

“We have decided. We are going to sue your officer. You have no idea what trouble my client had because of your officer.”

“T.. R..O..U..B..L..E?!?” A bang on the table by Kate interrupted the lawyer. “Are you serious? I lost my case for which I bet my life many times. I got transferred into homicide. Though I’m the key player in the department, I have to leave the work I was living for, just because of your this client. This silly man came into my ways so often like a dark misfortune and messed everything around. Huh.. You are going to sue me? Don’t you think I must sue him for spoiling my hard work and career?”

Episode 18: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

“Sir! I got him and now we can telecast a news that it was a misunderstanding and.. and whatever he broadcast regarding murder mystery and all was just his imaginations.” Kate sounds quite irritated.

“Kate please, Try to understand. Your identity is revealed now. No matter what statement we take from him, we can’t change this fact.” A senior officer replied.

“Why don’t you try to understand sir? You know, you know what risks I have taken for this case? How hard I have worked on this case? I deserve the second chance. Sir pleaseee” The voice of Kate started shaking.

“Kate! I know everything”

“Then sir..”

“Kate! Let me finish first. I hate this habit of yours to interrupt in between”

“I’m sorry sir”, Kate looked down with a slight disappointment.

“As you know, your face is revealed. You can’t play undercover anymore.”

“But sir,..”

“Kate! Let me finish and don’t interrupt me, not even to say sorry. As I said, you can’t play undercover anymore. But, because of your good track record, I am shifting you to homicide. It isn’t demotion. It’s just a matter of transfer. I hope you will work with same enthusiasm. And there won’t be any further discussion on this because this is an order. Is that clear?”

“Yes Sir.” Kate replied. A wave of disappointment covered her face.

“Come in”, Sr. officer replied to answer the knock on the door.

Peon came inside and gave message that Abhimanyu and his lawyer wants to meet Kate.

“She’s coming.” Peon went. “See Kate! I understand your position, but remember one thing, we can’t spoil the case and you have to accept that you are mistaken this time. So be calm and reply after thinking twice.”

Episode 17: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

Recap: Last week, you saw how Abhimanyu got the picture of Kate and he broadcasted it on news channels to get her. A bang on a door with the arrest warrant of Abhimanyu put him in a dilemma. “Kate?!? You?” Abhimanyu was unable to understand what is going on. Is this the same girl he met first time on the cliffs where she had blood marks on herself. Is this the same girl who was running behind a man, maybe to kill him? Is this the same girl who thrown him in the jail twice? And that girl is standing in front of him in this avatar?

Abhimanyu tried to understand the difference between the girl standing in front of him and the one he was behind for a few months. He checked her out from bottom to top. The black leather pant and jacket, opened clumsy blonde hair, same egotist eyes, same authentication in the voice. She is the “Kate”. The only difference was the badge hanging on her leather jacket which symbolizes the USA police.

“But but how can it be possible? You are a murderer? I mean, yes, I haven’t seen you killing anyone, but, but.. Oh lord, I’m gonna mad!.” Abhimanyu literally shouted.

“No you won’t” The girl replied.

“What?” Abhimnayu cross questioned Kate.

“No, you won’t get mad because you already are!!”

“Excuse me!! “

“I won’t." She looked back and ordered, "Cuff him.” A man came with her cuffed Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu tried to resist and pushed him back.

“Wait a moment! How can I trust you guys? I mean you might be crooks.”

The man shows him the arrest latter.

“I don’t believe it because this girl, your boss is the biggest culprit. How can I believe your arrest warrant?” Abhimanyu defended.

Kate came closer to him and slowly whispered in his ear, “Mr. Abhimayu! You heard right at the first time you met me. My name is Kate.” She turned him to opposite direction. She added, “I’m a cop and now you are in a very very very big trouble. So big, that you can’t even imagine in your nightmare.” She cuffed him.

Episode 16: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

Recap: In last week, you have seen that a senile was scolding Kate for her carelessness. Kate was responding confidently. A man came in between & shown the breaking news with a picture of Kate. “Within 24 hours that girl will be in the police custody, Abhimanyu. I am really thrilled man.” Josh was excited about this victory.

“All thanks to you buddy!” Abhimanyu replied with enthusiasm.

“Oh Please! I just used a few of my contacts to broadcast the news. It wasn’t a big deal for me, but seriously you did a great job of getting her pic man.“

“For that as well thanks to you, buddy”

“To me? Why?” Josh was puzzled.

“I just gave up after watching that blank CCTV footage, suddenly the question strike into my head which you asked me each time. Why didn’t I take her pic? And I checked my cell phone because I took a few pics there with a few fans. And Bravo!! I got her pic in the background of one of the pic took with a fan. So thanks for asking me idiotically intelligent question.” Abhimanyu passed the whole credit to his best buddy.

“There my friend is! The great author who has mastered the skill of playing with words.”

Abhimanyu raised his eyebrows and looked at him with a big question mark.

“Well! In a same sentence, you called me intelligent and an idiot at the same time.”

Abhimanyu winked and show his proud on his double victory. “It’s becoming more and more difficult to wait. Every single passing moment is so heavy. I want to take revenge of each and every moment I passed in the jail. I want the revenge of the problems I faced because of that…”

A phone rang and Josh answered in a hurry. He got breaking news which forced him to move out.

Abhimanyu sat on his writing chair. The feeling of getting the most awaited moment was giggling him from inside.

A sudden bang on the door got him out of the pondering state. He looked back to figure out what happened. A bang on the table and a harsh order vocalized “Mr. Abhimanyu! You are under arrest!”

“Kate?!?” Abhimanyu was in dilemma...

Episode 15: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

Recap: In the last episode, you had seen that Abhimanyu was behaving in a weird way which was pinching Josh. Abhimanyu saw something important to Josh which made Josh speechless. If you missed that, read it here: http://talksfest.blogspot.in/2014/08/episode-14-inexplicable-love-story-of.html

A lobby was filled with some fuzzy noise. A baritone voice pitch was going high. Meanwhile, the footsteps from a distance seem to come closer and became clearer. The voice of footstep stopped in front of the door from which a loud voice is coming out. Now, the fuzzy voice was clear. A man seems to be scolding someone very badly.

“I just can’t understand. An astute like you can make such a silly mistake. Or shall I call myself silly as I’m still calling you “the astute”. And .. and the same mistake? again and again…?? Do you have any ideaaaaa??? How badly this can affect our mission??” The voice of a senile became more annoyed.

“He deserves to get that Sir. And don’t worry, just trust me. It’s just not a big deal.” A flat response made the man angrier.

“What? I have never ever expected this kind of behavior from you. Do you have any idea what you have done? And what are you doing for a past few such incidences?”

“Sir. I told you no! I always clear everything so neatly that none can reach me. So does this time. Just relax…..”

This sentence just turned the head off of the person standing outside of room and listening all these. He just pushed the door and rushed into the room. “This overconfidence gonna hurt not only you, but all of us lady. And you know what? I don’t care if we all get killed because of our mission, but I’m just not gonna take anything goes wrong with the mission.” The man was shouting like crazy.

“You are over reacting Philip.”

“Oh yes! Then watch this.” Philip, the man who entered the room and shouting switched on the TV. He switches different news channels back and forth. The news left people in the room shocked. Each TV channel was showing the breaking news with a picture of a Kate. The news channels were broadcasting that the “mysterious girl who created all the chaos and proved “Abhimanyu – the author”, almost made can’t escape now. Here is the picture of the girl. Anyone who gets any news of the girl can contact on the number given below and can get a cash reward.”

The confidence turned into a shock and a puzzle, “How can it be possible?”

“As I said, your overconfidence which you were showing to boss before 2 mins. Now, what happened?”

“You have put our mission on a stake.” The senile man sounded worried. “I afraid I have to think about your position in the mission. Kate..”

Kate stood clueless and …….

Episode 14: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

Josh was completely clueless that why Abhimanyu is behaving in such a weird way. Kate or whatever the name of that girl, who blemished his fame, put him in trouble and he is laughing at her glib escape story. Josh went closer to Abhimanyu and held him to control his meaningless and weird laughter. Abhimanyu was still laughing queerly.

“Abhi! Dear friend, let’s go to Dr. Rai’s clinic. He is my friend and he can help you.”

Abhimanyu replied with much trouble to stop his laughter, “Do you think I have lost or what?” He laughed even louder and fall on the couch.

Josh was just gazing his weird gesture and trying to figure out what happened to him? Is he actually lost?
“and don’t you dare call me Abhi. My name is Abhimanyu.” Abhimanyu replied with laughter. After a while he controlled his cachinnation and called Josh to come near and sit beside him. Josh went closer with a little fear as in he is going closer to any psycho.

Abhimanyu became bit serious, but still there was a weird shine in his eyes. He implied, “I can understand what you are thinking of, but dude I’m completely normal. Now, listen to the important thing. We need to go to your office and listen, we have to use all your media contacts. There should be breaking news hitting all small and big channels.”

Josh was still not getting anything, “But CCTV footage was empty and with alibi of evidence, we even can’t go to cops dear.”

“We are not going to cops. We are going to media.” Abhimanyu winked.

“Nobody will touch your story. In fact, they will again make story against you. And..” Josh was just interrupted and his eyes popped out when he saw………..

An Ideal WorkPlace: Dream or Reality?

An Ideal Work Place

Recently I have attended a seminar in which one of the topics was “An Ideal Workplace”. I would like to share some sneak peek from the professionals who were both employees and employers. I hope this will help employers to create an Ideal workplace and an employee to find the one. Let's start with an irony.

“A company gifted a cycle to an employee without a carrier. An employee demanded to have the carrier as it would be difficult to use the cycle without it. The management took the cycle back and after a day they gave it back with carrier, but without a stand. The employee started asking to get stand as well because he needs both in his cycle. The management replied, “Dear employee! You are doing a private job so you can either get a carrier or a stand!”

The moral of the anecdote is in majority of private jobs, an employee can either get a good and stable career or could take a stand. So the first characteristic of an idea workplace should be that it provides an employee all the opportunities to develop a bright career. At the same time, a freedom should be granted to him to take a stand.  

Another characteristic of an ideal work place is the stability and security. An employee must feel secure to have a stable job. If he will always feel an insecurity of getting fired or demoted, he wouldn’t be able to perform well. An employee should be treated like a child of the company. If your child is weak and couldn’t perform well, will you abandon him? No, you will try to help him to grow. This should be the case in the company as well. Help your employees to overcome their weaknesses by providing proper guidance, instead of being impatient and firing the people out. 

Last but the most important point is to develop relation of Trust, respect & Understanding. An organization should trust the employee's skills; Fidelity to work more productively in any circumstances and  respect opinion and individuality of each small to major designated employee. An employee has to show the performance to get increment & incentives & promotions. Thus, each employee will always try to give more than 100% as everybody is looking for the growth. At the same time, an employee should understand that if management is trying to point something it is for his betterment. The suggestion for the management to make company an ideal work place is try to resolve issues, weaknesses and provide feedback and suggestion in a way that employee doesn’t feel embraced, insulted or naïve. Try to resolve it by asking the gentle questions and share your view points as suggestions, in spite of being judgmental, martinet or impatient.

An ideal workplace is a DREAM of each employee which can be converted into the REALITY by the organizations for long term and long lasting benefits.

Episode 13: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

Recap: In the last episode, you saw that once again Abhimanyu met Kate, but Kate escaped. How? Read it from here:

"I got her! This time she won't succeed to get away from me. You come to my home within an hour. I will be there." Abhimanyu hung up the phone.

Thinking Abhimanyu

Abhimanyu was trying to connect the dots and doorbell brought him out of the subconscious state. He opened the door, Josh was standing out and kept on gazing him. Abhimanyu pulled him in and started blabbering that how he caught Kate. Josh was just staring at him and trying to figure out something. Abhimanyu asked impatiently, "Are you listening?"
"No!"
"What?"
"Amm. I means yes! Ammm But what happened to your nose?"

Abhimanyu explained how Kate hit him and escaped. Josh was listening, as the story proceeded, his eyes started getting twinkling more. And he started laughing in a way someone switch on the car engine.

Abhimanyu got angry and said, "Have you gone nuts? laughing in such situation?" Josh controlled his laughter and started listening. "I got CCTV footage of the store from the manager on a condition that I won't file any case against him or his shop."

"Wow! that's great. That means we can give it to the police and .."
"No we can't" Abhimanyu interrupted Josh. Josh was quite confused that till the vary moment this man wanted to get her behind the prison and now.

Abhimanyu understood his confusion and tried to resolve it with the reason, "We can't because she is not in the CCTV footage. Manager said he wasn't aware that CCTV cams are not working for months."

"It's a crime. We can .."

"Relax" Abhimanyu again interrupted the fermentation of Josh. Abhimanyu wore an intense serious emotions on his face and said, "It's not that manager. It's her who destroyed the footage. It's her modes operandi to not leave footprints behind."

Josh was still confused as in such provoking situation, Abhimanyu was calm and smiling....

Abhimanyu smiled and asked, "Josh! are you forgetting to ask me something?"
"No I don't think so"
"Yes, you  are forgetting something...." Abhimayu has weird shine in his eyes.
"What?" Josh replied in collage of confusion and emotions.
"Why didn't I take her pic?" The air was filled up with laughter of Abhimanyu

“I want you!” Abhimanyu twinkled his eyes after long and said, “Just you!” smiled, “Kate!”
A winning smile was ruling him.

“Who.. Kate?" Emma seems to be surprised.

“I know you. Kate! I know YOU ARE THE KATE. You can change your attire. You can’t change your eyes. You can’t change your voice which has that command in it. You might forget me, but I can’t” Emma smiled, looked down.

“I got you Kate! And this time I’m not gonna let you go” Abhimanyu had goose bumps of kinda victory.
Emma was still smiling. She headed her chin up and said, “Really?”

Before Abhimanyu could figure out anything, she hit him hard in the middle of his nose. The punch was so sudden and strong Abhimanyu just fell down on the floor. His nose got numb for a moment and he just saw stars in daylight. Emma came closer to him, bends down and whispered, “I also didn’t forget you. In fact, I desired to meet you to give you the gift which you deserved. A big punch! You know what?! Just stop coming in my way or you don’t know how big trouble you can get into! So stay away.” Kate walked away. Abhimanyu was trying to stabilize. When he got hit by Kate and stumbled, he struck his head on something which took little longer to stabilize.

He called the manager once he got stable. The manager saw Abhimanyu nose was bleeding. He got him ice and first aid. The manager was scared of getting into any kind of police case. He was pleading to not make any case on him.

“I can rescue you from police case with a condition.” Abhimanyu said.
“What?” Manager asked .

“This must be the line you are using with every next girl!” Attender on perfume counter exclaimed and turned back.

“Well I think you have your angel for whom you are getting these fragrance gift. Right?”

“Oh yeah! But a prince can have more than one angels at a time if he can take care of all. And believe me I am an expert in that.”

“I’m sorry Sir! I’m married.” She tried to bring his attention on her wedding ring.

“Doesn’t matter to me.” A nasty smile covered Abhimanyu’s face

“But it does to me!” a male voice vocalized. Abhimanyu looked at him with questioned eyes. “I’m her husband and manager of this store. I afraid she won’t be able to attend you. Emma will attend you.” He shouted, “Emma take care of this gentleman.” Manager walked away with her wife.

Abhimanyu smiled, “So what do you have to offer me?” turned back to the counter and started watching perfumes in the cupboard.

“Whatever you want! Daisy? Rose.. umm”

“Wait! I have heard this voice before..”

“Don’t you get tired of using the same line for all the girls? Girls are wiser than you think.”

Abhimanyu looked at her. Emma was speaking something. May be she was giving some speech on woman respect. Abhimanyu was not hearing anything just gazing her.

“Will you tell me what do you want?” Emma commanded.

“You!” Abhimanyu replied....

Episode 10: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

Recap: The news of Abhimanyu’s 2nd prison visit was hitting the news channels which were somewhere questioning the mental stability of Abhimanyu. A wave of Josh’s laughter filled the silence of the room. Abhimanyu was pissed off and went closer to him. Josh was under impression that he was going to get hit, on his nose. Abhimanyu held his collar and asked, “Tell me what the cops got from the site?”

“fuh. You scared me man.” Josh got himself released and said, “Blood marks were there as you mentioned. There was an eye witness as well who filed complaint against you.”

“If blood marks were there, it clears that girl was there, too!”
“You can’t be so sure buddy! “
“But you said there were blood marks”
“Yes there was! And on your car as well and that’s the reason you got arrested. A witness had seen you hitting the man.”
“Then he must have seen Kate, too”
“I afraid he didn’t. That’s what he said in his statement.”
“What about the injured guy.”
“Well he couldn’t be located and that’s why you got bailed as police assumes that he must be fine. As there was no accident case admitted in any hospital. But one thing is sure.”
“What?”
“You must have taken a pic of that girl.” Josh started laughing again and Abhimanyu lost himself in the silence.

It’s been 3 months or more of that incident. Abhimanyu had got a clean chit from the court. Today, he was in a supermarket to get some stuff. He headed to the ladies perfume shop.

“Can you please show me some lavish stuff?” A girl was arranging the stuff. She might overhear it.
“Lady! Can you please show me some lavish fragrances?”
“Yes of course sir!”

“I think I have heard your voice before!”
“This must be the line you are using with every next girl!” and she turned back.

AMTSની મનમાની: જાહેર જનતાનો ભોગ

આજ સવારથી જ અમુક AMTS Busના રૂટ્સમાં અચાનક જ ફેરફાર કરી નાખવામાં આવ્યા. આ પેહલા કોઈ પણ પ્રકારનું announcement કરવાની તંત્રે જરૂર ના સમજી. મોટાભાગના મુસાફરો busની રાહ જોઈને કલાકો ઉભા રહ્યા.Circular રૂટની bus 800, 900 & 202 ના રુટ રાતોરાત બદલી નાખ્યા.

AMTS બસ number 800 & 900 ના બદલે 600 & 700 ચાલુ કરવામાં આવી કે જેના રૂટ માં આવતા સ્થળો પર પેહલા થી જ સારી એવી bus ની વ્યવસ્થા હતી. 202 બસ ના બદલે 201 ચાલુ કરવામી આવી. આ બંને બસો ના રૂટ બદલાવાના કારણે શેહરના માનસી circle વિસ્તાર થી રાયપુર, કાલુપુર, જમાલપુર, સિવિલ આવા વિસ્તારોથી કામ માટે updown કરનારા કેટલાય મુસાફરોને હાલાકીનો ભોગ બનવું પડશે.મોટાભાગના મુસાફરો નરોડા, સિવિલ, જમાલપુર,રાયપુર જેવા વિસ્તારોમાંથી ત્યાં નાની મોટી નોકરી કરવા કે ભણવા માટે આવતા. એ લોકો ને હવે ક્યાં તો 2 બસો બદલાવી પડશે ક્યાં  તો રીક્ષા કે BRTSનો ઉપયોઉંગ કરવો પડશે.આનાથી સામાન્ય માણસો ને આર્થિક મુશ્કિલો નો પણ સામનો કરવો પડશે કારણકે મુસાફરીનો ખર્ચો વધવાથી પગાર માં વધારા થવાના નથી.

પેહલાથી જ 800, 900 & 202 નંબર ની બસો સમયસર આવતી નહોતી જેની વારંમવાર ફરિયાદ કરવા છતાં તંત્રે કદી કોઈ પગલા ના લીધા ને હવે અ બસો જ બંધ કરી ઠગારી આશા કે કાલે બસો રેગુલર થશે એ પણ છીનવી લીધી.જયારે બીજી બાજુ નવા ચાલુ કરેલા રૂટ્સ ની બસો 600, 700 & 201 ને 10 - 10 મીનીટે દોડવામાં આવશે. એ પણ એ વિસ્તારો માં જ્યાં પેહલાથી જ સારી ટ્રાન્સપોર્ટ  વ્યવસ્થા હતી.  1 થી વધારે બસો એ  રૂટ પર ફરે જ છે ને શટલ રીક્ષા પણ આસાની થી મળી સકે છે. BRTS તો બોનસ માં છે જ. છતાં એમને નવી બસોથી નવાજવા માં આવ્યા ને જ્યાં પેહલે થી જ સમયસર બસ ના આવવાની સમસ્યા હતી ત્યાં બસો ને સમયસર કરવાને બદલે બંધ જ કરી દીધી.

આ જોતા 1 જ વાત આવે કે જે અમીર છે તે ઔર અમીર થશે ને ગરીબ ઔર ગરીબ.જેની પાસે પેહલેથી જ સગવડ છે એમને વધારે સગવડો આપો. ને જે લોકો તકલીફ માં છે એમની તકલીફો માં વધારો કરો. વાહ રે આઝાદી વાહ! આ કેવી લોકશાહી ? :)

Episode 9: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

A phone ring breaks the silence of the peaceful morning. The moment phone received, a message vocalized, “switch on the TV and watch my channel”. With little search, remote could be located and TV was switched on. A news channel was showing news which opened the half closed eyes of the Abhimanyu. He throws a vas on the ground in the spur of anger. He replied on the phone, “Where the hell are you?”

“Just at your door”. Abhimanyu rushed, opened the door and shouted in anger, “You and your disgusting professional steps. Are you my friend or enemy? Just make this thing clear now!”

Meanwhile Josh was settled down on the couch with his hallmark wicked smile, “My dear Abhimanyu! If I earn money from the controversy of my friend then what’s wrong with it? If I won’t, someone else will. At least I give you the news at first so you can be prepared for the questions.”

“But there was nothing to make news of.”

“Are you kidding me man? It is breaking news, “Once again the award winning hot and happening author is behind the cage. The main thing to notice is that he was talking about the same girl. Who is this mystery girl? A ghost who disappears? Or a reality? or just an imagination of a tired writer who is looking for his next story?"" Josh winked.

Abhimanyu threw himself on a chair. He seems to be tired and frustrated. After a long silence, Josh asked, “Abhimanyu! If you don’t mind I have a serious question for you.”
“Shoot”.
“You had a cell phone in your pocket at that time. Right?”
“yeah!”
“Before you caught Kelly”..
“Kate” Abhimanyu interrupted.
“Whatever the name is! Before catching her, if you wish, you could have got your phone out. Right?”
“Yeah! What’s the point?”
“Well buddy! The point is”, Josh seems to be really serious, “Yes tell me” Abhimanyu been a more serious listener.
“The point is,! Why didn’t you take her pic?”

A lady can’t verify. Really?!?!??

It’s a random post based on an experience I had today. If you believe in woman liberation as I do it’s gonna be worth reading.

It was a week off from the office so I was relaxing and landline phone rang. When I answered it from the next hook a lady asked, “Can I talk with Mr. Ashvinibhai Vyas?”
I was like “Whom? Whom do you wanna talk with?”
“Mr. Ashvinibhai Vyas…”
I replied, “There is no Ashvini bhai Vyas here. You have dialed a wrong number”

She said, “I’m talking from the BSNL and it is the same number with that name and it’s a verification call.”
I said, “Then check your form properly lady. It is not Mr. AshviniBhai Vyas. It is Miss AshviniBehan Vyas.”
She didn't apologies as you can expect from the BSNL people. She just accused gender is not defined. Well then I said that “I’m the one, tell me”. She started demanding to talk with my father for the verification. I was saying that “The phone is billed on my name and I am the one then talk to me.” And the lady gave me a lame answer.

She said, “As per the rules a lady cannot verify”.

That sentence just turned me off. I mean the phone is billed on the name of a lady. Why can’t she? The minister of Gujarat is a lady,”Anadiben Patel”. A lady can‘t verify her own phone? Why and how? A lady was asking another lady, “A lady can’t verify the phone. That’s the terms.” I mean come on grow up. I just don’t know was that a real verification call from BSNL or was just a fake phone from some credit card or some plan sellers. But if it was really from BSNL then I would say “GROW UP. You really need to change your thinking.’

I just gave her a short speech on woman liberation and she had hooked it off before I hand over the phone to my father. She mentioned one line that she hasn’t defined the rules. She’s right, but she is the part of the system. She is a lady. And as a lady if you see such things, I think you should at least try to ask for your right. Don’t you? If we all will think like this that it’s a tradition and it’s a rule and it’s not affecting me then how will this orthodox system get change? We have to speak when it’s wrong, don’t we?

Episode 8: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

“Do you think I am in love with that girl!?.” Abhimanyu exclaimed

“Without a doubt”, John replied.

Abhimanyu turned back and gave him a wicked smile and said “Then you must take a visit to a psychiatrist.” Abhimanyu walked 2-3 steps, gazed outside from the window and said, “I would never love a girl because there is nothing….. called….  love. It’s all about having some fun. Huh, Serious commitments……. doesn’t exist,,, in today’s era. And I..” he turned back, “I just can’t even imagine to fall in love, making serious commitments and spending whole life with a single girl by being his full time servant and a credit card. There are so many beautiful flowers in the garden, why to stick with only one.” He winked.

“Then why are you after her? Why are you so desperate to find her? I am totally confused.”

Abhimanyu smiled & suddenly changed his expressions. There was a strain of anger and frustration on her head. He replied, “An award winning writer, Author, spend 4 hours in a prison. Just because of a girl and you think that writer should let her go by proving him a reckless idiot who imagined things in the hills????? I want to prove that I was right. I want her to pay for EVERY SINGLE MOMENT I SPENT IN THE PRISON. Do you get your answer?” 

“Well! You answered the question, but I still doubt”. Josh replied.

“I get damn to your doubt. You have such a big network. Just go and get the girl. That whole road had blood stains as that man was injured & bleeding.” Abhimanyu commanded. 

In an intense conversation doorbell rang. Abhimanyu opened the door. 

“Mr. Abhimanyu, You are under arrest in the case of drunk driving and hit and run accident.”

Episode 7: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

“Why you brought me home? We must rush to the police station. The life of that man is at stake”. Abhimanyu shouted.

 “Just Relax”, Josh gave black coffee to him, sat beside him. After a silence of 2 minutes, he started laughing like a psycho. 

“Why the hell are you laughing?” Abhimanyu frustrated. With the really hard efforts Josh controlled his laughter and replied, “You got beaten by A GiiiiiiiRL??” Josh started laughing again.

Abhimayu gave a weak try to save his male ego, “I was not ready and she just attacked. Anyways, I am a Man and I can’t raise my hand on a girl.” Josh kept on laughing. Abhimayu got furious and added, “I am a writer, not a fighter. Fuh. Stop it.” Josh tried to stop his laughter and asked him, “You told me that man was calling her Kelly?”

“Yeah! He was…. Quite strange”

“It may be possible that was some other girl” Josh took a sip of beer.

“No! She was Kate. I know.”  Abhimanyu put his cup on the table and said.

“How can you be so sure? Was she looking the same? “

“No. Actually! Not at all. She was wearing a shabby frock with lots of patches on it. Her hair was chaotic. She was looking like a beggar, but she was Kate. I know.”

“Look Abhi! It was 2 at night. You were drunk. It may be your illusion. And even if there was a girl, she could be someone else. It was too dark to see anyone’s face. Moreover you said she was not even looking the same as you seen her before.  I think you need to take rest.”

“What the hell do you mean? Am I out of my mind? She was Kate. I know. No matter what that man was calling her. I can” he released his breath and said, “I can never forget her voice, her fragrance. “ Abhimanyu stood up from his sofa, stare at the wall and added, “She was this.. this close to me. I know she was Kate.”
“Abhi! Tell me the truth. Do you want to go to the police to save that man? or to get that girl?”

Abhimanyu turned back to Josh and gave him an angry look, “1st thing, MY NAME IS ABHIMANYU. DON’T YOU DARE CALL ME ANYTHING ELSE.”

“Fuh.. Sorry! I forgot you don’t like the short forms of your name, but my question is still there. Why do you want to go to police? “

“Do you think I am in love with that girl!?.” Abhimanyu exclaimed

Episode 6: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

Recap: Abhimanyu, a best seller book author had been in a prison because of a mysterious killer girl who just vanished like a shadow. After a month, he saw her again at midnight on a road. The shadow of that girl was coming closer. Abhimanyu was in a state of shock. The girl who sets him up in the prison is just in front of him, but in completely new Avatar. Is it really Kate? Abhimayu was trying to figure out the unsolved puzzle. “Please help me or Kelly will kill me”. An entreaty of the man pulled him out of his thoughts.

Kelly crossed Abhimanyu and headed towards that injured man. “Please let me go, don’t kill me please Nooo please please”. The man was begging. And something happened. Abhimanyu attacked on Kelly from back and held her in his arms. In this sudden attack, her gun fallen down. Abhimanyu controlled her by suppressing her. He shouted, “There is a phone in my pocket, come here and call 911. Now!” That man was standing there in terror and suddenly started wambling . “You fool! Why are you running? Just make a call to police from my phone. She can’t hurt you. She is completely in my control.”

That man shouted from a distance he covered, “You’re mistaken!”

“What?” Abhimanyu exclaimed.

“He's right!” Kelly looked into his eyes and said.

Abhimanyu looked back into her eyes and whispered “what?”.

Kelly smiled and before Abhimanyu could understand anything, Kelly held his palms in her hand, pushed it up, took a sudden turn and gave him a strong kick in his tummy. “aouch!!!” That’s the only thing Abhimanyu could speak and fallen down on the ground. Kelly ran away and disappeared in the dark.


He pulled out his phone out of his pocket with extra efforts and called up, “Hey Josh! Please come to the blue street. I just saw Kelly. I mean Kate!” The broken words fell out & faded away in the dark silent night!!!!!

Episode 5: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

The sun headed up on his journey of a long hot day. Birds were chirping and a doorbell rang. Abhimanyu opened the door and Josh rushed in, handed over a newspaper and started making tea. Abhimanyu seems very lethargic. His sleepy eyes widened up and he shouted with aggression, “You jerk! How could you do this?”

Josh winked & said, “Boy! You are a star now. You have boomed the print & electronic media. The media has only one story in their headlines, a star writer who received the best seller book award from the president spent 4 hours in a prison due to misleading police. He dreamed a killer girl.” Josh laughed and added, “The connoisseurs are debating, it might be the reason of his tiredness or he plotted all these to write his new book. Really dude, You gave me a biiiiiiiig story” Josh winked with a wicked smile.

Abhimanyu’s head was blasting with thoughts and anger. Just two days before he was on the sky of success and now stuck in an unnecessary controversy. How can it be possible to dream something with all your senses!!!! He was unable to figure out what to do.  Josh spotted his perplexity and said, “Hey buddy! I know I don’t need to explain, but still, this is just a professional step, don’t feel it!” Abhimanyu replied, “I get damn of this as you know me. I am concerned about that girl.”

“Are you in love or something with her?”

“Oh please! You know me, Girls cannot rule my head. And heart! I don’t have the one.” He inhaled a  breadth and added, “ I know she was not a dream, then where did she gone?”

“I also know Abhimanyu that she was real. I mean the way you described her, but what is bothering me is you had a cam man. Why didn’t you click her pic?”

Abhimanyu gave him an offended look & implied, “Yeah of course! I should have asked her like, Hey beautiful lady would you mind I click a pic of you and I won’t mind if you shoot me with your gun then after.”

After a month, Abhimanyu was coming back from a party at around 2 AM. All of the sudden a man came in front of his car. He rescued a big accident by giving a short break. He just rushed out of the car to see is that man got injured? He saw a gush of blood from his head. That man just got up & tried to run, but he was stumbling.  “Stop right there else I’ll shoot you folk.” A STRONG announcement, vocalized in the silent dark night. Abhimanyu looked back; a girl was coming to his side in a shabby frock. It was difficult to see her face. A Street light shed on her face. Abhimanyu’s eyes were popped out and he exclaimed, “Kate!?!.”

Episode 4: Inexplicable love story of an Exceptional Girl

Abhimanyu looked back and said “Hey Josh! Finally you’re here bro. Meet Mr. Menon. He is the cop investigating that mystery killer girl story & Mr. Menon, he is Joseph, journalist in print & electronic media. Mr. Menon” . Mr. Menon seems to be in another world. Abhimanyu shook him, “Mr. Menon. Meet Joseph” “Oh I’m, I’m sorry. Uhh I was thinking about the girl.” Menon replied. “Yeah you must be. In a way, Abhimanyu described her, any man might get slipped into her thoughts. Anyways, I am Joseph”. The cop interrupted him and said, “Of course I know you. You are a star reporter and journalist. Who doesn’t know you?” Josh Replied, “Thanks. Really humble you are! So what’s the status, detective?” Cop replied, “I’m sorry. It might be a case of homicide so I won’t be able to give you the details. It must be confidential.” Josh shown him a letter and said, “I understand officer, but I have permit to cover this story. So would you please tell me the status?” Cop replied, “Well of course. I have just taken the statement of Abhimanyu & our search team is searching for the dead body or any other evidences on the hills as described by him. We also checked his phone as she talked with someone, but she was smart enough to delete that number. One of our officers is trying to chase it from the telephone company. Well we might get something soon.”

Abhimanyu and Josh gone into a side and started a conversation. “Don’t forget your promise josh. You will give me all the material of this case. I think this will be the big coverage for you and a very interesting plot for my next mystery novel. A new plot and another best seller book”. Abhimanyu winked. Josh gave a weird look & asked him, “I will keep my words, but I think you are more interested in that girl instead of the story. The way you described her was.. “ Abhimayu deterred him and said, “I am a WRITER so it’s in my DNA. Don’t take it otherwise buddy. But one thing I would confess that she had something. Something which wasn’t ordinary.” A sudden noise baffled their conversation.

They went to the Officer and they heard a conversation which was quite shocking. “I have checked with the telephone exchange, there wasn’t any call made from his phone to anywhere in that time. We quest the whole hill &inquired the locals, but there is nothing. Not even a small tiny drop of blood. It’s all clean here.” Officer turned back to Josh & Abhimanyu and said, “Mr. Abhimanyu! You are under arrest in allegation of misleading & wasting time of police.”
